- BUILT-IN I2C CONTROLLER The PCF8574T I2C chip is soldered directly onto the display PCB, so there is no add-on adapter board stacked on the back. Total thickness stays at 12 mm, letting the module sit flush against a panel or housing wall.
- NO SOLDERING REQUIRED The 4-pin header is pre-soldered at the factory. Plug jumper wires into VCC, GND, SDA and SCK and the display is ready to run. No soldering iron and no 16-pin header to assemble, so first-time builders can start in minutes.
- ONLY 2 SIGNAL PINS I2C uses SDA and SCK only, leaving the rest of your GPIO free for sensors, buttons and SD cards. The A0, A1 and A2 solder pads change the address, so all three displays can share one bus. Default address is 0x27.
- 3-PACK WITH BEZELS AND SCREWDRIVER Includes 3 displays, 3 snap-on black front bezels that hide the bare PCB edge for a finished panel-mount look, and 1 mini screwdriver for the contrast trimmer. If the screen looks blank at first power-up, turn the trimmer.
- 16x2 BLUE BACKLIGHT, 5V POWERED White characters on a bright blue background stay readable in low light, in the standard 1602 footprint and mounting holes. For 3.3V boards, a logic level shifter on SDA and SCK is recommended for long-term reliability.
